I am on a mission-a mission to be the best me that I can be. Some of you may be thinking "huh?" or "this is going to be extremely boring," but it is something I need to do for myself and maybe I will be able to help others as well as myself through my struggles and, hopefully, provide you with a little humor along the way.
A little background about me-I am a stay-at-home mom/college student attending class part time for nursing. I have a 6 year old son (Jared) and a 3 year old daughter (Chloe). My husband, Rusty, who is a fifth grade teacher, and I have been married for 9 years. I also have ADHD. Now, most of you have heard of ADHD and probably have a visual of an uncontrollable hyper person that cannot finish a sentence without being distracted. For the most part, you are right. We also struggle with organization skills, impulsiveness, addictive behaviors among other things. Needless to say, this can make daily tasks very difficult especially when you have other responsibilities such as family, work or school.
With all of that being said, I am not the best me I can be. I am unorganized, I shop too much, I procrastinate and I self-sabotage myself way too often. I am tired of blaming anything and everything else for my downfalls and I am ready to move on. Welcome to my journey.
